My stay at the cutest casita by the creek...

A couple weeks back, my family and I had the greatest pleasure of staying at one of the most unique little places outside of Asheville, NC --- The Creek Casita!

I was contacted by Amanda (@townesandbirdie) who recently finished renovating this adorable cottage that sits right next to a creek. It's a 1930's cinderblock home that has been transformed, by her and her husband, and turned it into a cozy quaint cottage that's filled with warm boho aesthetics. The Creek Casita sits right next to a natural creek that makes you feel like you are deep into the secluded woods. You can sit back and relax with a good cup of coffee on the back porch, all while listening to the soothing sounds of the rushing creek. My husband and oldest daughter absolutely loved stepping into the water to climb the rocks and skip stones; and our youngest ended up falling asleep while being soothed by the sounds.

There's so much to love about this charming Airbnb and we also love the fact that it's only 20 minutes outside of Asheville, so it's not far from shops, restaurants, and the Biltmore Estates/Village.

So lets take a little tour around the property

The main entrance

The main/back porch
It's adorably set up with rustic wood chairs and pillows, and decorated with outdoor lights for added ambiance for those nights that you just want to sit outside.

Having the creek right outside the house is by far the best feature!

The first thing you see when you open the back door is the beautiful creek!

The home is furnished with vintage & modern bohemian pieces.

There's even a fun wicker hanging chair that's great for cozying up on!

Morning snuggles with little Leighton.

The Creek Casita is a 2 bedroom 1 bath home, and sleeps 4 guests.
The second bedroom is set up with 2 separate twin beds that is great for the kiddos!

The kitchen itself is open and airy, and has a mix of vintage and modern elements that will take you back to a different time. I mean, how cute is that SMEG fridge?!

I'm a huge fan of floating shelves and I love these natural wooded ones that house the cups, plates, mugs, etc.

I love how they added an accent wall in the bathroom to really make this space pop and stand out on its own!

The master bedroom is a vibe in itself!
There's a mixture of natural patterns and textures, but has a few gold modern pieces (like the light fixture) to really pull it all together.
The bed itself was super comfy to sleep in and the bedroom has plenty of space as well.

Overall, I highly recommend The Creek Casita!
It's a one of a kind spot that is great for families and friends to get away and relax :)
