My Stay at the Courtyard at Carolina Beach...

Good morning--
This past weekend Justin & I packed the kids up in the car and headed on up to Carolina Beach this past weekend! We had an itinerary packed full of things to do while there, but ultimately we were ready to get settled into our room after the long drive.
I teamed up with the Wilmington and Beaches Convention & Visitors Bureau to explore the area all while staying at the Courtyard Marriott Carolina Beach Oceanfront Hotel.

The Courtyard Marriott is located in the perfect spot right on the beach. We love rooms that overlook the ocean, and what's great about this hotel is that ALL the rooms have oceanfront views!

Read more about our stay below:

All the rooms overlooking the boardwalk and beach.
We stayed on the 9th floor to really get a good panoramic view of the ocean, and it was so nice getting to wake up to a beautiful sunrise during our stay.

We spent our stay in a 2 Queen Guest Room and it was perfect for a small family of four!
Justin & I stayed close to the balcony, while our daughter Ryleigh had a whole Queen size bed right next to us all to herself throughout the trip. We asked the front desk if they had cribs available, and they did, so we ended up having Leighton sleep in their provided pack-n-play instead of the co-sleeping bassinet that we brought. We were definitely grateful that they had accommodations for infants!

An adorable little sitting area!

T.V. and desk setup

A very roomy bathroom with a shower/tub combination

Here's the view from our balcony--
It sure was Heavenly!

And here's Leighton and I soaking in all that sunrise goodness during our first morning there!

The lobby

Hangout area and Bistro

Dining area for when you need a quick pick me up at the Bistro or for when you need to grab breakfast before you hit the beach!

Outdoor pool area

Their beach access is right next to their pool and I noticed that they had a couple of showers to wash off sand and even a sea shell wash station. Ryleigh would have definitely taken advantage of that in a heart beat!

And another big advantage with staying at the Courtyard Marriott here at Carolina Beach is that it has instant access to the Carolina Beach Boardwalk!

Our room was a spacious 2 Queen bed Guest Room, which made it perfect for our family! We had plenty of space in between the two beds to fit the provided pack-n-play for Leighton to sleep in as well as other extra space for bags, clothes, etc.
It overlooks the beach and boardwalk and even includes seating on the balcony to relax and listen to the waves or even the music from the local rooftop bars/restaurants.
Room includes WiFi, T.V., desk and chair, and plenty of outlets to charge your electronic devices.

This hotel has plenty of amenities to make your stay more pleasurable and convenient!
First thing, when staying at the beach, sometimes other hotels or public parking areas will charge for parking, but here you have free parking included in your stay!

If you're staying during the off season and/or it's still too cold to go out and swim in the ocean or in their outdoor pool, do not worry because they have an indoor pool! Justin ended up taking Ryleigh to their indoor pool after dinner while I stayed up in the room to feed and put Leighton to bed.

They also a Bistro down in the lobby where you can grab some lunch/dinner or even an early morning coffee! They do have a breakfast buffet in the mornings, but it is separate from the Bistro.
