Nursery & Baby Name Reveal...

Ah! I'm so excited because today is the day!
Today I'm sharing the completed nursery, plus our baby girl's name reveal!
I've gone back and forth on whether I wanted to wait or not on revealing her name, but honestly I can't hold it in much longer.

I talked a little bit on my Instagram stories, that her name is different, but is similar in some way to Ryleigh's. I love it when sibling names kind of flow together and these two definitely do.

But before we jump into that, I wanted to share the completed nursery--shiplap and all!

A month or two back, I gave y'all a sneak peek into the nursery.
Then, the walls were not done, the lamp was not set up, the curtains were not hung, and there were a few odds and ends that we're not decorated to really pull the whole room together.

There's not much hanging on the walls, besides this little rustic gold shelf, and I love how it creates this cozy little nook in the corner of the nursery.

After Justin finished the shiplap wall, all we needed to complete the room was to hang the curtains.
Where the nursery is positioned in the house, it is facing the complete cycle of the sun. So from sunrise to sunset, there is always natural light...but the downside to that is how it is constantly too warm in the room. So we needed blackout curtains to help decrease the temperature.

I wanted a curtain set that was clean, fresh, and girly, and I stumbled upon these white ruffled blackout curtains! They really do pull the room together.

So Amazon has a lot of cute boho room decor, and I found these beaded tassel garland ropes to use to pull back the curtains. They come in a set of 3 and are only $16!

For me, it's all in the little details, and I had some leftover garland & string star lights to decorate the little room divider that I previously purchased for my office.

We ended up saving the crib that we used for Ryleigh, and reused it for baby #2.
Since this is our last little one, we didn't see a need for a new one.
It works perfectly for the look we were going for for the nursery. It obviously has wear and some scratches, but it just fits that natural worn bohemian look!

I had been looking for some knit-vintage-like dolls and Justin's boss surprised us with these adorable Cuddle & Kind dolls. They were exactly what I was looking for and there's a good cause behind them too! For each doll sold, 10 meals are provided to children in need from around the world.

I ended up getting a little creative & turned my hat organizer (to the right of the photo) into a different kind of organizer. I found some garland at Hobby Lobby and tied it around the strings. I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to clip/hang on it, but I was thinking either burp cloths or bibs.

I wanted a fun mirror with a natural twist, and I found this rattan starburst mirror at HomeGoods. It was one of the very first things I purchased for the nursery!

Leighton was the only girl name we picked out and it stuck! We love how different it is, but yet it's similar to Ryleigh's. Each one of their names has the spelling 'LEIGH'.

Huge thank you to The Polymathmom who created this adorable name sign!
Each product sold helps plant one tree! She also gave me a 10% off code to share: COURTEINK10

We can't wait to meet you, Leighton Rose!
