Say Yes to a Chenille Dress...

rust colored chenille v-neck dress (comes in 3 colors) || sam edelman tall boots (this pair would look super cute with it too!) || tan baker boy hat (there's also a pretty chenille one in black here) || similar hoops here & here || my favorite blush by ct || charlotte tilbury mascara

Happy Tuesday everyone!
Hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving! Sooooo much has happened over the Thanksgiving weekend & I'm so excited to let you all in on the details but first, let's talk about this dress:
If you LOVE chenille, get excited because the one I'm wearing in today's post is so soft & cozy, which makes it perfect for a casual weekend out! Plus, it's under $60 & comes in 3 colors. And as the season gets colder, you can try styling a white (or black & white striped) turtleneck underneath for an extra stylish warm layer. I really think ya'll are going to love it!

Ok, and on to a little recap:
Again, I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and ate TONS of food--because I definitely did! We are still eating leftovers too! Anyway, the day after Thanksgiving we usually head up to the mountains to cut down our Christmas tree but, we had to postpone it for a couple days because Justin went up to PA to pick up our new puppy! Ryleigh had been asking for a puppy for MONTHS, and she asked for one again for Christmas. So in order to surprise Ryleigh, we had a little help from our Elf on the Shelf, Sparkle, by arriving on the doorstep with our new little pooch. Her name is Ruby and is an American Eskimo. We recorded Ryleigh's reaction, and let me tell ya, you may want to have a tissue on hand! See it HERE.
Then on Sunday, we drove to a dog friendly tree farm near the Highlands, and Ruby had an absolute blast running around all the Christmas trees! Our kitty Sully is still making an adjustment, but he's been curious and watching her close by, so I'm sure they'll be friends as Ruby gets older.
