Casual Wear and Being Real

I'm going to be honest here, I've pretty much been in a slump this past week. A little bit of anxiety and a dash of lack in inspiration. Oh the life of the everyday working blogger! Seriously ya'll, the climb isn't always going up and if it was, there wouldn't be much progress. I'm constantly figuring out ways to better my blog and some things succeed and others...well you know, suck. But I'm a pretty optimistic person and I love what I do even if there isn't much in return. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to make my passion into a full on career, I mean it would be my dream job! For now, I'm just here to share with everyone my style and to help inspire those who just need a little push of inspiration themselves.

The reason I'm getting pretty real here is because I'm kind of tired of giving off the impression that everything is literally roses and macarons because, it's not. There will be ups and downs, but that's just how lives and businesses work. So that being said, I'll continue to strive hard, stay positive, and work through this awkward season.

For today's outfit, I really wanted to dial it down and go street casual. We went to the Circus this past Saturday with Ryleigh so what better thing to wear than my favorite distressed jeans (similar) and an easy to wear sweater (here's a similar version). And let's not forget my adorable new layering pieces from Julie Vos. Their pendant and link bracelet (similar) has been on a serious repeat this week!

I hope you enjoyed today's post!
