My Trip To The Gaylord Opryland Resort w/Soundwaves...

If you're looking for a family fun place to stay or have a long business trip planned out, then the Gaylord Opryland Resort will be the best place to unwind, relax, and get the best amenities they have to offer!

Just a couple weeks ago, I had the pleasure of teaming up with them to celebrate the opening of their new SoundWaves outdoor water experience! They had an exclusive kick off event the day before, and invited a few military families for the ribbon cutting, and to take advantage of the fun before the season opened. They also had a little waterslide race with some of the press and families, and you can tell that they were having a blast!

You can't beat this view!

There's a massive wave pool that's perfect for swimming in, or lounging under the sun. Everything about SoundWaves is so aesthetically pleasing: with its modern beach side inspiration to it's retro influence in the cabanas, this place is paradise!

The food is jaw droppingly good! They have such a great selection of poolside food that's handcrafted and served fresh, right from the resort!

If you're ever there, you must try the nacho tots & the charcoal burgers--soooo delicious!

There's also a large patio area where you enter and it's strung with adorable bistro lights!

While you're there, grab a specialty crafted drink!
We were able to try one of their new yummy cocktails called, 'The Standing Ovation.'
It seriously gave you all the tropical feels with every sip you took!

There's fun for everyone at SoundWaves! Not only is there a massive wave pool, but it has some enthusiastic water rides and it even includes a kid friendly water are with small/medium slides and water sprays.  If you're looking for some more quality YOU time, there is an adult only pool, ages 18+.

Believe it or not, I got to try my hand at the FlowRider to crowd surf. It's a lot harder than how the instructor makes it look, haha!

Got to spend the last day with these girlies, Angelle & Jessica!
So glad to have hung out and get to know them, because they're the absolute sweetest!

I'm also going to add that this place is HUGE! I'll admittedly say that the girls and I got lost trying to find the Soundwaves entrance, haha! But it was worth it because we got to see a few things that we hadn't already seen.

A lot of the rooms that had balconies, overlooked different areas of the resort. Mine was located closer to the entrance and overlooked a section of their garden atrium.

We ended up having dinner on the last night with some of the Opryland team at their steakhouse, Old Hickory. It was phenomenal! I had a filet covered in a garlic herb butter sauce, and we ended up getting a few appetizers and sides to share around the table.

They also have other dining areas that include, Mexican food, pizza/italian, and American cafe's.

The Opryland Resort has so much to offer! They have multiple restaurants, coffee shops, and gift boutiques. You can even take a river boat inside and ride along their indoor river.

Delta Island is where you want to be if you're looking for some quick gift ideas, or maybe to grab some ice cream!
