Girl's Weekend In Fort Wayne...

As you may have already known, Brittany, Laura, Morgan, Sarah, and I all flew up to Fort Wayne, IN this past weekend for a fun girl's weekend away hosted by Fort Wayne and Vera Bradley. We got to tour the Vera Bradley Headquarters, check out local boutiques & eats, taste tested at Country Heritage Winery, and even see a cover band concert! It was such a great trip to just getaway and hang out with some of the girl's! I know that in the blogging community it can be kind of hard to fit in and see who you click with and, I'm not going to deny it, it definitely wasn't easy for me at the beginning of it all. But I'm thankful that I can call them my friends and get to travel in style with these ladies. They're fun, easy to laugh with, and super supportive! Heck, there may have even been a bad attempt at a lip-sync battle on our Instagram Stories during the trip, haha! #funtimes

So go ahead and scroll down to see more of our trip!

VB definitely had major office #goals!

Our first full day in town, we got to tour the Vera Bradley Headquarters! It was such a wonderful experience to see, not only how their bags are made and distributed, but how they get inspired to create their prints! I'm obsessed with their creative thought process and it amazes me to see how they figure out trends right before they happen. So it was definitely a treat to see some sneak peeks for the Spring and Fall '18 line! Thank you Holly for everything you've done and for showing us around!

Got a sweet tooth? No problem! Debrand Chocolates are heavenly! They even have great coffee and hot chocolate selections to choose from.

Love these girlies!

We actually ate fairly healthy during our stay, and Freshii had to be one of our favorites for lunch. So if you frequent a lot of juice/smoothie spots, I highly recommend this place! I had their delicious Pesto Bowl, sooo yummy! Don't worry, they do have juices and smoothies.

On our last night, we had the pleasure of watching a Cover type band at the Embassy. I have never been to this kind of concert, and we enjoyed singing along to all the greatest 70's & 80's chart toppers! I do have to admit something---they covered Man In The Mirror by Michael Jackson and I literally about flipped! That and Bohemian Rhapsody and Don't Stop Believing had to be the highlight songs of the night!
