Tips On Packing For A Beach Getaway!

Happy Friday loves! This Dainty Darling is heading to Daytona! Yes, me and the fam bam are road tripping to the sunny state to visit our good friends, Cara and Ba'Kari and their daughter Arielle. We've missed them a ton, so we decided to take advantage of the long weekend and get some sun & sand time with them.

For today I'll be featuring my favorite weekend luggage from Jon Hart Designs and sharing a few tips and essentials when packing for your trip!

To fully enjoy a weekend at the beach, you're going to need the following: floppy hat, sunnies, sandals, and of course, a round beach towel. Oh, don't forget your favorite book or magazine!

Guys, I'm a ghost. I can't tan if my life depended on it! I had to fake n' bake back in HS just took get a couple shades darker. But now that I've been more educated about the dangers of tanning beds, I've had to find alternatives to get that sun kissed glow. My best investment has been the St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse. It's easy to apply and gives me that quick tan that I need!

A little about my luggage: I use my carry-on from Jon Hart Designs to pack all my important clothing and accessory pieces. I was actually surprised at how much room it offered; plus it even has a few extra side pockets for convenience!  P.S. If you're ever flying, this bag is best used to fit main neccessities for a 24 or 48 hour day (you know, in case of any other missing luggage).

It's always a good idea to invest in a jewelry organizer. Thankfully, the one I found doesn't have to break the bank!

When packing, I like to keep my outfits in order. I feel like the best way to keep things organized, for when unpacking begings, is to keep the pieces of the outfit together. For example: these pants with this top; they will be folded and stacked accordingly. It lets me know that I put some thought and effort into it and cuts down my styling time!

And, I hate to admit it, but...I'll more than likely be using this whole medium duffle bag mainly for my shoes...#guiltyascharged! Funny thing though, I was actually debating between the small or medium duffel, but I'm glad I picked the medium because it can fit everything, not just shoes, but my curling wand, hair dryer, and any other toiletries.

So, if you're a constant traveler, I highly recommend it!

Below, I've listed a few things that I will be bringing along with me. You can hover over each item, click, and it will take you to that product! {some items are linked to similar styles}
